Seven Oaks is a community in Odenton, in western Anne Arundel County, and it sits directly across Route 175 from Fort Meade. I'm Ryan Breeden, a Long & Foster agent who has helped buyers and sellers across central Maryland since 2005, and I've sold homes in Seven Oaks and know it well. The newest Seven Oaks homes for sale are below. After them, I'll cover what the community is like, what homes cost, which Fort Meade gate is closest, and what to check before you make an offer.
Seven Oaks is mostly townhomes, with some detached homes and a few condos, and most were built from about 1990 to 2006. It's one of the more affordable places to buy in Odenton, and it's right by the Fort Meade gates. The community has a pool and tot lots.
Detached homes and townhomes are in very different price brackets here, so decide which one you're shopping for before you start touring.
The HOA in Seven Oaks is typically under $100. The amount changes, so I help you get the right contact at the association and ask them for the current number before you write an offer.
Seven Oaks homes that sold in the last 12 months were listed between $260,000 and $745,500, and the average list price was about $439,000. That's 81 sales, from MLS data pulled 10-20-2026. Condos start in the low to mid $200,000s, the townhomes make up most of the sales, and some updated detached homes sell for over $700,000.
Those are list prices, not final sold prices. For the current numbers, see my Seven Oaks market report, linked at the top of this page, and if you're thinking about selling, the Home Value button at the top gives you a free estimate.
The Mapes/175 gate is the closest, directly across Route 175 from Seven Oaks, and the Reece Road gate is less than half a mile up Route 175 from the community. Reece Road is the gate that's open around the clock, while Mapes/175 has limited hours, so check Fort Meade's site and the My Army Post app before you count on it.
From Brigadier Blvd, Google Maps shows about 4 to 8 minutes to the Reece Road gate in typical traffic at 7:30 AM and about 4 to 7 minutes at 5:00 PM, checked 10-20-2026. Drive your real route at your real time before you buy. If you're moving here on orders, my PCS or military relocation page explains how I work with buyers who can't visit first.
Check the town on the listing. If you search the name Seven Oaks on your own, you'll also see homes in Silver Spring, in Montgomery County, that have nothing to do with this community.
I help you get the right contact at the association so you can ask what the fee covers and verify the current amount before you make an offer.
Confirm school assignments for the exact address with the Anne Arundel County Public Schools enrollment page and its school locator instead of relying on a listing, because boundaries change.
